June 1985 - Commenced work as a legal clerk with Gell, Rockliff & Co. Employed in a small city commercial firm and having supervised conduct of matters in bankruptcy, conveyancing, commercial litigation, debt recovery, probate and family law.

1984 - Transferred to University of Sydney, Solicitors Admission Board Examinations.

1989 - Commenced employment with Messrs McClellands Solicitors. Worked as a law clerk and then once qualified, as a solicitor predominantly in personal injury litigation but also in criminal and general litigation.
